This is the only way in which you can make a 4G TL look good.
Step 1 - Buy a black one.
Step 2 - Respray beak black.
It’s still got a big, fat ass and doesn’t look that good in profile, but the front end is massively improved.

Also adding paint to the pre-facelift grille doesn’t necessarily work out quite as successfully.
You really need the 2012-14 with the less-ridiculous grille as the starting point.

I was just about to comment this, the 2008 version looks like shit and I’ve seen this body matched beak IRL and it does look like shit still.
The facelift version is marginally better but trust it photographs better than it looks in person too. Is it better than the silver beak? Yeah but the car overall is ugly as hell.

Honda does things good, and they do things bad. Their infotainment system is garbage, for example. Their CVT is gutless and awful. Their customer support is lacking at the moment.
